Taz is a lovely 9 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy who has been looking for a new home for around a year after being taken into care at the Jerry Green Dog Rescue centre in Blidworth.
As part of our National Dog Adoption Month campaign, run by dog adoption site www.dogsblog.com, we are trying to help debunk the myths about dogs in rescues all being damaged and highlighted great dogs, like Taz, who are sitting in rescue kennels across the country waiting for their ideal new owners to find them and give them the second chance and home life they deserve.
Hear our interview with Mark Dennison on BBC Radio Nottingham, talking all about Taz and his perfect new home, as well as debunking some of the myths about dogs in rescues.
